On Wednesday, November 2, eager GHS students joined together in the gym for a night of competition, and fun at this year’s annual NHS Fall Frolic. Students formed teams for badminton, bean bags, and dodgeball. Admission costs are going to be used for a great cause – the NHS Giving Tree – later this year.

This year’s winners for badminton were Cameron Spillane and Landon Kent for the second straight year. “It felt great to be back on top. We train hard all year to be able to perform at the level we do,” said Spillane.

The bean bag champions were Kane Hyde and Evan Kruse. Kane nonchalantly stated “I love the Fall Frolic.”

The dodgeball champions were Anna Hulscher, Sydney Schuler, Hunter Holland, Lisi Ludwig, and Lily Kurt. After an impressive performance, “the fruits” team member Lisi Ludwig said “Fall Frolic 2k16 was probably the greatest underdog story in existence. With Hunter as our secret weapon, the Fruits were pretty dominant. I’ll never forget my crazy catch that nearly took out Lily. See you at Spring Spectacular!”

Congratulations to our winners and to all who participated! Students now have the Spring Spectacular to look forward to. We’re excited to see who will compete and win when that time comes.
