The girl’s varsity basketball team went up again Pecatonica this weekend and won with a final score of 51 to 43. The top scorer of the night was Sami Wasmund ‘20 with 20 points and close behind her was Mackenzie Muehleip’ 20 with 18. “Everyone played really well throughout the whole game,” said Wasmund. “The intensity just kept getting higher and higher.”  

Pecatonica had the lead 24-25 at the end of the first half, then the Pirates lit a flame and it was over for the Indians.

The girls next game is scheduled for Friday, December 21 in Pearl City at six o’clock.
