Congratulations to the Varsity Scholastic Bowl team on beating River Ridge twice in the season opener on Monday by scores of 310-140 and 200-160. Daniel Heid led the Pirate scoring with 10 correctly answered tossups out of 48 heard. Thomas Kern and Jovian Pham also contributed to the victories with 4 apiece.
