Pirate Competitor of the Week – January 3

 Addie Hefel Varsity Girls Basketball – Addie helped lead the Pirates to three big wins over break against Pearl City and at the Belmont Jamboree over Darlington and Blackhawk. She averaged 18.7 ppg, 8.3 reb, and 5 assists in those three games. According to Coach Watson, “Addie has had an impressive start to this basketball season.  She is leading our team in scoring (20.2 per game), rebounds (6.7 per game) and assists (4.5 per game).  Addie has been a starter on our varsity team since her freshman year and has continued to improve her game in all areas.  Her ability to create shots for herself and her teammates is really impressive.  Addie is one of the leaders of our team and we are excited to see what the rest of the year will bring for her and our team.”
