Sam Eaton – Pirate Competitor of the Week

Sophomore harrier Sam Eaton is this week’s Pirate Competitor of the Week sponsored by Galena Culver’s and the Galena Gazette. At Amboy on Thursday, Sam ran a very strong 3 mile time of 17:53 on a challenging course in cool and windy conditions. According to coach David Eaton, “Sam has improved his times throughout the season and is in the hunt for a place every race. The team is looking forward to the opportunity to compete this Saturday at the Regional in Oregon.” Sam was honored with a gift basket from the Galena Culver’s, as well as a newspaper courtesy of the Galena Gazette.
