Mya had a big week helping the Pirates reach the State Tournament. In the Sectional and Super-Sectional matches she had 11 kills, 4 blocks, 15 digs, and served 27/29 with 2 aces. Coach Wills said, “Mya is simply awesome! She has worked tremendously hard to improve her game. This is really starting to show on the court and at the perfect time. I am constantly reminding myself that she is only a sophomore as she plays like a senior. Mya had a great week for us and is now a player that other teams must focus on which only makes us better in many ways. Great job Mya!”
