This week in 3 games Owen averaged 11 points 3 rebounds and 4 assists. In the biggest game of the week for us, Owen stepped up in a big way with 10 points (all in the second half), 3 steals and 6 assists. Coach Matt Wienen said, “We’ve been waiting for Owen to step up and show how good he can be, and wow, he did in a big way against Scales Mound. Owen kept his big game performances going with a 14 point (4- 3 pointers) 3 steals vs Orangeville/Aquin. Owen is one of the hardest working players we have on our team this season. He’s worked hard on improving his shot every day at practice and that hard work is starting to pay off. He’s becoming more consistent on both the offensive and defensive end of the floor. He’s becoming one of our best defenders. So proud that he’s building confidence in his offensive skills because us as coaches always knew he could be a great offensive player!
