Mrs. Bradbury is certainly not new to having animals in her classroom. From cuddly chicks, and baby turkeys to a turtle. She now has a bunny to share the classroom with. Reina (the destroyer) is a six-month-old rabbit. Students oftentimes spend class with her. She enjoys engagement and will dart across the table. Many students enjoy watching her dodge obstacles, such as running under set-up books and navigating a maze of school supplies.
Students enjoy having animals in the classroom “The bunny loves me and she’s a great addition to the classroom” said Mason Smith ‘26. It’s fitting to have animals in the classroom. Especially a biology class where the focus is on life and learning about animals as well as other organisms.
Students can utilize having the animals around in various ways. “I believe pets are a good addition to the class. I think we will be able to learn more about how to take care of them and how they behave,” said El Law ‘27. Overall the animals pose great for learning and fun in the classroom and we can’t wait to see which new animal members join GHS in the future!
