Make plans now to see the Drama Club’s fall production of the hilarious murder-mystery comedy Bloody Bloody Quiz Bowl. Come see us at Turner Hall this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30. Doors open at 7:00 and tickets are available for purchase at $5 for adults and $3 for students.
To go deer hunting, students must submit a completed Planned Absence form, signed by a parent or guardian, and a valid state hunting license and tag to Mrs. Heller at least two days in advance. Failure to do so will result in an unexcused absence, which may be treated as truancy. For the 2024-2025 school year, students are only allowed one planned absence per hunting season and two absences for hunting in total. If you plan to deer hunt during the first shotgun season, all required paperwork must be submitted to the office and approved by 3:30 PM on Wednesday, November 20th.
All football players will be turning in all equipment and apparel today after school. Players must bring everything they have clean!
Spread the Holiday Cheer with the NHS Giving Tree! ‘Tis the season for giving! Join us in spreading holiday cheer to local families in need. The NHS Giving Tree is back, and we’re inviting all students, staff, and community members to participate. How it works: Pick a tag from the Christmas Tree in the library: Each tag represents a gift wish from a local child or family. Purchase a gift: Buy the gift listed on the tag. Return the gift: Wrap the gift and return it to the tree in the library by December 13, with the tag attached. Let’s make this holiday season brighter for someone in need!
Students in Bradbury and Peart’s Ecology classes that wish to volunteer to help at the Deer Check Station this weekend in Elizabeth: there is a sign up outside of Mrs. Bradbury’s room. You will also need to fill out a volunteer form that Mrs. Bradbury has and needs to be returned by Thursday morning.
Get ready for a night of fun and games! Join us for the NHS Reindeer Games on December 19 from 6:00-8:00 PM at GEMS. Show off your skills in our dodgeball tournament or test your aim with a game of bags. Admission is only $3, and there will be snacks and drinks available for sale. Sign up outside Mrs. Friedrick’s room to secure your spot! Don’t miss out on this awesome event.
