Owen Hefel doubled to right field on the sixth pitch of the at-bat, which helped Galena Varsity Pirates tie the game at three in the top of the seventh.
A double by Zach Heller gave Galena Varsity Pirates the lead, 5-3, in the top of the ninth.

Leadoff hitter Owen Hefel led Galena Varsity Pirates with three hits in five at bats. Zach Heller and Owen Hefel were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Galena Varsity Pirates.
