The National Art Honor Society spring art show opens tonight from 4-6 pm at the Galena Center for the Arts. You don’t want to miss this. The artwork is up all month, and you can catch it during regular gallery hours if you are unable to attend tonight.
Hey Pirates! Next Monday, April 14th, the Galena Brewery is the place to be for a special Tri-M Coffee House at 6:00 PM. Come hang out, enjoy incredible live music performed by your classmates, and grab some delicious treats and drinks. It’s the perfect Monday evening escape! Don’t miss the Music Coffee House at the Galena Brewery on Monday, April 14th at 6 PM! The cost is $5 at the door.
The wait is over…our show opens TOMORROW! Get ready for The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), a lightning-fast, laugh-out-loud comedy that crams all 37 of Shakespeare’s plays into one unforgettable performance. You’ll see sword fights, mistaken identities, dramatic deaths (and some not-so-dramatic ones), and more hilarity than you ever thought possible from English class material. Shows are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30 PM, doors open at 7:00, and tickets are just $3 for students. Grab your friends and get ready for a night of non-stop fun; this is one show you do NOT want to miss!
Attention Juniors and Seniors, if you did not pick up your After Prom packet this morning, extra copies will be in the office. All forms need to be returned to the After Prom mailbox in the office by April 16.
On April 16th all students grades 9-11 will be taking a form of the ACT. There is no food or drinks allowed while testing. You do not need your backpack on test day. Please bring only your laptop fully charged, charger, writing utensil and calculator. Students will be allowed to leave once testing concludes for juniors. Testing locations are listed outside Mrs. Deppe’s office. There will be a practice login on April 15th during the first block. Please report to your designated testing room with your computer.
