Galena Varsity Pirates won big over West Carroll 10-0 on Tuesday.

Galena Varsity Pirates added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Drew Koenigs singled to center field, and West Carroll committed an error, each scoring one run.
Eli Studtmann earned the win for Galena Varsity Pirates. The right-handed pitcher surrendered three hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out eight and walking two. Chanse Schnitzler took the loss for West Carroll. The pitcher went four innings, allowing eight runs (seven earned) on eight hits, striking out four and walking three.
Galena Varsity Pirates amassed nine hits in the game. Owen Hefel and Eli Studtmann each collected two hits for Galena Varsity Pirates. Eli Studtmann led Galena Varsity Pirates with three runs batted in. The pitcher went 2-for-3 on the day. Galena Varsity Pirates turned one double play in the game.
