This month is National Bullying Prevention Month, and our signature event is coming up: Unity Day!
Unity Day, started by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center, is a day when we can all come together to build commUNITY through kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. The call to action is simple: next Wednesday, October 22nd, we ask everyone to wear and share the color orange. This vibrant color sends a visible message of support for students who have been bullied and shows our commitment to bullying prevention. Let your orange be a conversation starter and a powerful statement that our school stands for acceptance! Everyone who wears orange will be put into a drawing for a $10 cash prize.
Attention, students! The GHS Tri-M Coffeehouse is tomorrow night at 6 pm, at Blaum Bros Distillery. Come support your musician friends and enjoy some hot apple cider and snacks. Tickets are $5 at the door!
Today is the last day to buy bundt cakes. Find a NAHS member and get your order in by the end of school!
All NAHS artwork for our November show is due today! Make sure to drop it off in the art room ASAP. Also, don’t forget to complete your artwork paragraph in Google Classroom.
Attention GHS! On Friday, October 31st, come dressed in your most creative, school-appropriate costume for a chance to win a Spooky Prize from Student Council! There will be individual and group winners, so let’s see your best Halloween looks—while keeping it classy, GHS!

Congratulations to Co-Pirates of the Week, Keinan Lyden and Sam Amaya. Keinan ran for 124 yards and two touchdowns in Friday’s 46-6 win over Dakota. Coach Kyle Knight said, “Keinan has done a great job in the 2nd half of the season as a running back. He has a quick first step and does a great job of accelerating through the hole. We look forward to watching Keinan continue to grow as a running back.”
Sam had 119 yards and 2 touchdowns in Friday’s 46-6 win over Dakota. Coach Knight commented, “Sam is a bruising runner who is tough for one person to bring down. He is a very good blocker as well when called upon. Sam has had a great senior year and helped position us for a chance at the playoffs.”
