Co-Pirate of the Week – Keinan Lyden and Sam Amaya
Keinan ran for 124 yards and 2 Tds in Friday’s 46-6 win over Dakota. Coach Kyle Knight said, “Keinan has done a great job in the 2nd half of the season as a running back. He has a quick first step and does a great job of accelerating through the hole. We look forward to watching Keinan continue to grow as a running back.”
Sam had 119 yards and 2 Tds in Friday’s 46-6 win over Dakota. Coach Knight commented, “Sam is a bruising runner who is tough for one person to bring down. He is a very good blocker as well when called upon. Sam has had a great senior year and helped position us for a chance at the playoffs.”

Avery Werner JV Volleyball Blue – Coach Taylor Ozee said, “Avery had really upped her game as a leader and a libero toward the end of the season! Her defense has gotten really solid, and she is taking charge of the court. She is an athlete who consistently tries her best at practices, and is a consistent, steady player on the court. Avery earned 41 digs at the Pearl City tournament! Great job this season, Avery!”
Leah Vincent JV Volleyball Blue – Coach Ozee commented, “Leah has been a fun player to watch develop over the years! Her defense and serve receive skills have really improved this season. She is a team player, and works hard to improve every day. Leah helped her team by earning 21 digs at the Pearl City Tournament this weekend. She also served 25/26 with 2 aces. Great work this season, Leah!”
Alek Jones JV Football – Alek Jones had 2 touchdown runs for the JV football team in a 26-6 victory over Lancaster this past week. Coach Tyler Sincock said, “He had some really physical runs where he refused to go down. Alek also made some nice tackles on defense from his linebacker position. Alek has improved a lot throughout the season. He has a lot of potential and I am looking forward to seeing what he can do the next couple years at the varsity level.”
