Being an only child can be a blast, but it can also be a drag. Taylor Adrian believes that when you are an only child, you are more independent, so you actually end up maturing faster. However, when you don’t have any siblings, you don’t have the same childhood as other people would with siblings.
Being an only child can impact your life. Taylor Adrian said that she enjoys being an only child because she doesn’t have to share, which works well for her because she likes to be more on her own with things. Since she is so independent she spends her free time, not hanging out with siblings, but on the computer most of the time. She likes to go online shopping, listen to music, write, and watch Netflix.
Many people believe that when you are an only child, you get spoiled by your parents. However, Taylor said that her parents don’t necessarily spoil her, but they try to give her a better life than what they had.She does get more expensive things for Christmas and her birthday, especially when she was younger, because she said that her mother was more excited wrapping the presents, than Taylor was with opening them.
Taylor also said that she believes that she has a good relationship with both of her parents because she is very open with them, and has nothing to hide. Taylor Adrian said, “seeing people with siblings makes me sad because they have to put up with them everyday”. She did say, however, that it would be nice to have a sibling because you have someone that you can relate to, and they can also help you develop your social skills.
Her favorite memory as a child was when she was on the beach in Florida. There were a bunch of dead jellyfish on the sand. Taylor thought that it would be a smart idea to throw one at her dad. It ended up sticking on her dad’s back for literally three minutes.
