The varsity boys basketball team defeated Fulton Unity on Wednesday, December 12th in the Route 84 Holiday Tournament in Fulton. The score of the game was 59 to 23, Pirates. The score leader of the game was Conner Einsweiler ‘19 with 20 points. Other top scorers included Evan Kruse ‘19 with 9, Ethan Hefel ‘22 with 6 and Brady Schemehorn ‘22 also with 6.

This was the Pirates 3rd game of the tournament. They had one loss and one win in the tournament before this game. They came out hot, and never stopped. The Pirates scored 31 points in the first half of the game. “It was nice to play a team that we could handle easily, so that we could see what our second string players could do,” said Kruse. “It is awesome when we can get everyone into the game”.

The Pirates opponent for the next game in the tournament is still undetermined. They will play Saturday, December 15th in the Route 84 Holiday Tournament at Fulton High School. Let’s bring home another Pirate win this weekend.
