Time for new beginnings! Sarah Bello ‘25, Anthony Aburto-Garcia ‘25, Alfredo Jimenez ‘25, Yulissa Garcia ‘25, Marisol Trujillo ‘25, and Cata Mauro ‘25 say their last goodbye to GHS. The class of 2025 was celebrated for all their hard work and dedication on Sunday, May, 18 at GEMS. “Estoy tan orgullosa de poder decir que me gradué en Galena High School,” exclaimed Mauro ‘25. We had so much fun playing games and goofing around, and dabbed in gambling! The senior class went on their senior trip to the Kalahari. Some seniors played games with teachers and spent their money on scratch-offs. Can't wait to see our seniors' next adventure. Conner Soat said, “The water park was so much fun, definitely better than school. The best part of the whole thing was buying scratch-off tickets on the way back.”

Getting heated! On April 15, the girls soccer team went head to head against a difficult opponent, Prairie Du Chien. Coach Luis Vazquez said, “This is one of our toughest opponents, I really wanted a win for us against them.” The soccer team watches film during practices in order to watch out for the teams they go up against.
