On Friday, Nov. 11 the Jo Carrol CTE announced their Students of the Quarter. GHS junior Averi Hewitt was recognized for her work in the law enforcement program. 

 “I think CTE is a great opportunity for students and I enjoy putting in the work to win the Student of the Quarter award,” said Hewitt ‘24.

Hewitt has also been named as a student ambassador at the CTE Academy. According to the CTE Facebook page “Student ambassadors are the faces and voices of the CTE Academy – they are living the CTE experience right now and can share information and experiences with prospective students considering enrolling in one of our amazing programs.”

For her hard work and dedication Hewitt was awarded a certificate and a t-shirt.
