Pirate Competitor of the Week – Taylor Hilby Varsity Softball

Taylor is this week’s Pirate Competitor of the Week. Taylor played a big role in opening up conference play with a big sweep of East Dubuque. In the first game Taylor was 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 RBI’s. She followed that up at East Dubuque with another 2-3 performance and another home run, 2 RBI’s, and scored 2 runs. Coach Westemeier said, “Taylor is hitting the ball well this early in the season, and playing good defense at shortstop. I’m counting on Taylor to continue playing at a high level the whole year.”
