Addie Hefel Varsity Volleyball

Addie helped lead the Pirates to a Regional Championship last week. Addie had 25 kills, 31 digs, 28/29 serves-1 ace, 1 block, and 2 assist. Coach Wills said, “Addie is just a tremendous “all around“ VB player for us but what also stands out is her leadership skills. With her on our team it’s like having another assistant coach and that is a huge asset. That was certainly on display this week as she turned in two incredible performances at the regional. I’ve been fortunate to be coaching around her since she was in 8th grade and it’s been an awesome journey watching her grow not only as an athlete but as the amazingly young lady she is!”

Addie was honored with a gift basket from the Galena Culver’s, as well as a newspaper courtesy of the Galena Gazette.

Brycen Syncock-7th Grade Basketball

Coach Schumacher stated, “Brycen scored a combined 16 points against Belmont and East Dubuque this week. Brycen is a great defensive presence; his ability to tip passes and block shots have led to easy points for himself and the team. The Pirates are 4-0.
