Lilie Streich, Music Director said, “Maybe you have heard Izzy sing the national anthem at one of our home volleyball or basketball games throughout her high school career! So we wouldn’t be more excited for her to represent our school at the Illinois All-State level. Izzy has been very motivated this year during her audition process for All-State. Izzy not only was able to perform at the district level, but she has now been chosen to represent the whole state as one of the top sopranos. She has been such a great leader in choir these last two years and I am so excited for her and this accomplishment. Izzy is always looking for new opportunities to grow as a musician and you can tell that all of this hard work has made a difference. I am proud of Izzy as she makes the transition from high school to college next year as she continues her musical journey.

Michael Sau, Band Director said, “Helena is a fantastic student and musician and it all comes from her outlook towards growth. Because she loves music and always puts that love first, no challenge is too big and everything can be taken one day at a time- that hard work pays off, and we couldn’t be more proud of her representing our school in the All-State Orchestra.”
