BLACKHAWKS

I know, as a Spanish boy, that I don’t know anything about hockey but I am going to write about my experience at one of the Blackhawks game in the United Center.

On November 6, I went to Chicago with my host father, my host brother and Sydney Schuler to see the Blackhawks game in the United Center against the Dallas Stars.

It was one of my best days in the U.S because I wanted to go to Chicago (but we didn’t see the city) and go to the stadium where some Spanish players played (Pau Gasol and Nikola Mirotic) and the best basketball player ever Michael Jordan

But I was going to a hockey game that was new for me. In Spain we play hockey but on grass.  For us is the same as soccer but with sticks.

Hockey on ice is very different from hockey on grass. First of all, because they are skating on ice and I think is difficult because I didn’t ever do it .The second reason is that it has a lot of rules that in the other kind of hockey don’t/

The moments that most I liked were when I entered to the stadium and I saw all the crowd in their seats and when the Blackhawks scored a goal.,  The fans were shouting and it was very exciting
