
Violet Doyle Soccer – Violet helped lead the soccer team to a regional quarterfinal win Saturday over Stillman Valley 4-0. Coach Spencer Pyle said, “Violet has been a huge part of our defense this year and has shown great qualities that any coach would enjoy. Leading the team as a captain, she has been consistently passionate, hard working, and aggressive. Violet has always been a problem for other teams to deal with.”
Mya McCoy Soccer – Mya also played a big part in the regional win on Saturday. Coach Pyle said, “She is the powerhouse of the midfield. Mya has dominated in the air and on the ground, dribbling around opponents with ease and making very advanced passes on offense. Mya is all over the field and never seems to tire out. She is definitely someone other coaches need to plan around.”

Other Nominations
Chloe Kaiser Softball – Coach Ryan Zmich said, “Chloe has been solid for us all season, offense and defensively. Her consistent effort and sharp softball IQ has helped her all season and she’s very coachable. Chloe leads the team in home runs and as a freshman she has a bright future ahead of her.”
Peter Wagner Boys Track – This week Peter set the meet record in that mile at the Missile Invite with a time of 4:32.36. He also won the mile at our conference meet with a time of 4:38.80 and ran a leg on our 4×800 team that got the meet record and school record with a time of 8:14.94. Coach Mike Decker said, “Peter works hard and has improved his times throughout the season. He has been a good leader for our team as well. I’m very excited to see how he and the rest of our squad perform at the sectional this week.”
Ali Mann JV Softball –
Coach Sarah Rosenthal said, “Ali has stepped up this season by taking on a new role as catcher for the JV team, and she has shown she is a natural behind the plate. I’m looking forward to watching her continue to develop in this position, as she brings great promise for the future. In addition, her at-bats have been consistently strong, and she currently leads the JV team in doubles. Ali’s commitment, enthusiasm, and positive attitude this season helped lead the JV team to a winning overall record.”
