You may have seen photos of GHS student Kayla Casper floating around that look like she’s modeling; well rumor has it she is a model for a magazine firm in Dubuque.
“I got asked one day from one of the workers from “ I do Bridal,” who said they needed a model for The Her magazine on June 30th. They asked if I would be interested in doing it.” said Kayla Casper.
Normally, models do not get to choose their dresses, but Kayla said, “I got to pick them from a magazine that they order from.”
She bought her homecoming dress from “I Do Bridal,” but she did not model that one as it did not come in on time.
On a typical day of modeling Kayla would get her hair and makeup done at Indulge Spa in the Ramada. From there she would go to the modeling studio, try on the dresses she chose and stand in a position that would make the dress and her look the best.
As the photographer was taking pictures, Kayla repeatedly heard them say, “You’re a natural!”
Casper works at “ I do Bridal,” and modeling was something she did along with the job.
