On October 18, the Galena volleyball teams traveled to Warren to play their last regular season games of their 2018-19 season.

The JV team beat Warren 25-10 and 25-9 with the help of Kylie Brown’s 7 kills and Grace Wilhelm’s 16 digs. “It was a great end to a great season!” said Wilhelm, excited about the win.

The varsity team also beat Warren, 25-12 and 25-6, leading with kills for the night, Morgan Wills had 12. The other stat leaders were, Samantha Stoffregen with 18 out of 18 serves and 2 aces, Sami Wasmund with 3 blocks, Drew Wasson with 25 assists, and Samantha Stoffregen with 29 digs.

Wasson said, “It was a good way to end the conference season and it makes me really excited about the state tournament”.

Another highlight of the night was the fact that this win made the Galena varsity volleyball team the conference champs for the year. Making their conference record 13-0 to finish the regular game season.
