Pirate Competitor of the Week – Ella Getz Scholastic Bowl

This week’s Pirate Competitor of the Week is Ella Getz.  Ella was the high scorer for the scholastic bowl team at the Masonic Academic Bowl tournament at Pearl City on Saturday. She correctly answered 12 of the 64 tossups heard by our team. That means she answered roughly one fifth of the questions heard by all ten players in the four matches that we played. Coach Ron Jenkins said, “This was Ella’s best showing of the season so far. I have high hopes for her as a team leader next year.”
