Parker is this week’s Pirate Competitor of the Week. Parker helped the Pirates start the season with a split at the Jacksonville Tournament. The Pirates lost to Routt Catholic and then came back to pick up the win against Ridgewood.  Coach Berlage commented, “Parker batted .571 with 2 singles, a double and a triple with 1 walk in the 2 games played. He also pitched 1 of the games and picked up the win pitching 5 innings and recording 10 strikeouts. As our first games of the season and trying to get some extra guys playing time on our spring trip Parker pitched great overcoming some adversity knowing we were trying to get some players some field time during this spring trip.”
