The Yearbook Staff is officially on the hunt for your Spring Break memories. Whether the break was spent on a tropical beach, a mountain trail, or just a very comfortable couch, those moments belong in the yearbook. To sweeten the deal, the Yearbook Department is hosting a contest. Any student who submits a Spring Break photo will be entered into a drawing to win $10 in cash. To enter, students must email their photos to Mrs. Bookless or the Google Form you were emailed last night, and include their name, grade, and a brief caption. The deadline for the drawing is 3:00 PM this Friday, April 10. Don’t let those memories stay hidden in a camera roll—send them in, get featured in the book, and maybe even walk away with some extra lunch money. Remember: Friday at 3:00 is the final cutoff!”
Congratulations to this week’s Pirate Competitor of the week, Varsity softball player, Casey Mann. Coach Ryan Zmich said, “Casey picked up where she left off last year playing an excellent third base and was 5 for 9 at the plate with 3 RBIs. Her quick reflexes and aggressiveness at 3rd helped her to make a great diving catch during the Milledgeville game. Her hustle and leadership shows during practice and the games.”
