Important Food Truck Information: Today, at 2:20, the food truck form will be sent out from Mrs. Burken. Please complete it ASAP. There are 3 food trucks to choose from: Chomp Street Eat, Frank O’Dowds, and Birds. We need to have an equal number of people at the 3 food trucks, and this will work on a first-come, first-served basis. You may be asked to pick a different option at a later time. Those with any dietary restrictions, please reach out to Mrs. Burken or Mrs. Rosenthal
Attention all Drama Club members: the meeting during homeroom has been postponed due to the Scholastic Bowl/Journalism send-off. Please plan on staying in the GEMS gym after this exciting celebration for a few minutes to get important information about the banquet next week. All Drama Club members (involved in It’s a Wonderful Life or Godspell) are expected to attend this meeting.
It is time to vote for the 2026 Prom court! Please see the email sent by Mrs. Burken to cast your vote! Voting will close on Thursday at 2:50 pm.
Next year promises to be an exciting one for Scholastic Bowl! Anyone who would like to join next year’s Scho-Bowl team should attend the informational meeting on Wednesday, April 29, during homeroom in Mr. Tancrell’s room.
Grades 9-11, we need the student body to vote for their class representatives for Student Council 2026–2027. Keep in mind—vote for peers who demonstrate leadership, responsibility, and school spirit. Who do you want leading your class? Make sure your vote counts! An email was sent by Mrs. Rosenthal to vote. Voting ends at 3:00 pm Friday the 24th.
Attention Juniors and Seniors – if you are bringing a guest to Prom who does not attend GHS, pick up a permission slip from Mrs. Burken, or check your emails and print off the slip. Permission slips must be completed and returned to Mrs. Burken by Wednesday, April 29, at 2:55 pm. Late permission slips will NOT be accepted. If you are bringing the same guest as you brought to Homecoming or Winter Formal, you do not need a new permission slip. You must make sure to sign them up as attending.
Don’t forget to support the Bubblr for Berning fundraiser! You can purchase a Bubblr during any lunch period for the remainder of the school year. All proceeds are donated to Mr. Dusty Berning and his family. Grab a drink, support a great cause, and show your GHS spirit!
