Volleyball girls competed in Peosta, Iowa Community center on January 30th. Athletas won every match that Sunday and are proud of their accomplishments. “Winning our tournament was a great sense of achievement especially after coming off of such an amazing school season. Club Volleyball keeps us in shape for the fall school season,” said Julia Townsend ‘23. Girls have four tournaments left before the end of their season.

Senior Maddy Glasgow sad that her senior year is coming to an end but excited to see her college plans! “To keep my mind off of the excitement summer brings, I have been getting my classmates involved as much as possible to make the most of the last semester of my senior year,” said Glasgow. Seniors will walk the stage May 22, 2022.

The GHS girls golf team ended their era with a bang winning their meet that night and advancing to sectionals. The meet took place on September 21 as they won against Eastland. The seniors are happy with how the season went and couldn’t have asked for a better team. “Although my school golf career is over, I couldn’t be happier with how the season went and all the amazing relationships I created with my teammates the past years,” said Olivia Richardson.
